Family First Health to present ‘Fresh’ April 30 at York Little Theatre

Family First Health will screen the 2009 documentary “Fresh” April 30 at York Little Theatre, 27 S. Belmont St., Spring Garden Township. There will be a reception at 6 p.m., followed by the movie at 6:30 p.m. The event is free, but tickets are required. Get tickets here.

“Fresh” brings viewers the stories of farmers, researchers and business people who are re-thinking America’s food system. It explores how agriculture became industrialized and the consequences of that transformation in terms of sustainability, the environment and health issues. Farmers and entrepreneurs, including Will Allen, Joel Salatin and David Ball presents possible solution. The film runs 72 minutes.
